Rule:  INT#014

Synopsis:Use a parameter of pointer type if the function stores the address or passes it to a function that does
Severity Level:9
Category:Class Interface


A pointer is also required if the parameter can refer to no object, i.e. have the value NULL. A reference cannot model this, because it is always linked to the same object with which it was initialized.
